We are currently accepting applications for flag and sideline cheer coaches. If you are interested please download the application from our website and e-mail it to
[email protected] or contact us through Facebook Messenger at TAA Youth Sports: football, cheer and soccer for in person applications.
If you are selected as a cheer coach you will receive one (1) football or cheer registration or a family member.
You are responsible for paying for background check required by the City of Norfolk for a coaching card (SSCI -$15.00)
You are required to complete an Online Coaches Clinic at www.nays.org (concussion training: cost $25) ....Returning coaches will need to renew
Attend all City of Norfolk coaches Clinics ----date & time TBD
Each coach will receive a coaches shirt to be worn at all games/events
Practice for Cheerleaders will begin: TBD 2018
Uniform hand out will be: TBD 2018
Coaches will be responsible for handing out and collecting PomPoms at each game/event
Please make sure you pick a team parent ASAP they are required to do a background check as well
